PROVIDING NOTICE OF THE PRIMARY/GENERAL ELECTION DATES FOR 2017 COUNCIL ELECTION RECOMMENDATION: ADOPT RESOLUTION NO. 16-1770, PROVIDING NOTICE OF THE MARCH 14, 2017 PRIMARY AND THE MAY 16, 2017 GENERAL ELECTIONS. PURPOSE: The term of Mayor and three Councilmembers will expire in June of 2017. The resolution is to announce the upcoming spring 2017 elections in the city of Goodyear for the March 14, 2017 Primary Election and, if necessary, the May 16, 2017 General Election.
