PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER APPROVING A SPECIAL USE TO ALLOW THE INSTALLATION OF A VERIZON WIRELESS COMMUNICATION FACILITY MONOPALM AT 2501 N. PEBBLECREEK PARKWAY RECOMMENDATION: 1. Conduct a public hearing to consider approving a Special Use to allow the installation of a proposed Verizon Wireless Communication Facility (WCF) to include a 55-foot tall monopalm and support equipment on property located at 2501 N. PebbleCreek Parkway, southeast of the intersection of Virginia Avenue and PebbleCreek Parkway, with a waiver to allow a reduced setback of 43 feet from the north property line in lieu of the required 55 feet. a. Open public hearing b. Staff presentation c. Receive public comment d. Close public hearing 2. Approve a Special Use to allow the installation of a proposed Verizon Wireless Communication Facility (WCF) to include a 55-foot tall monopalm and support equipment on property located at 2501 N. PebbleCreek Parkway, with a waiver to allow a reduced setback of 43 feet from the north property line in lieu of the required 55 feet, subject to stipulations. PURPOSE: The request is for a Special Use to allow the installation of a proposed Verizon Wireless Communication Facility (WCF) to include a 55-foot tall monopalm, antennas, and support equipment on a 0.68-acre site. Staff finds the proposed request will be compatible with the surrounding area, will not be a detriment to surrounding properties or persons, and will be in conformance with the General Plan.
