REAPPOINTMENTS AND APPOINTMENTS TO THE BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT RECOMMENDATION: 1. Reappoint Nancy Burton and Estelle Beswick to the Board of Adjustment for a three-year term expiring on October 31, 2018, or until their successor is appointed and qualified. 2. Appoint Robert Garcia, Thomas Neith, and Jerry Schroeder to the Board of Adjustment for three-year terms expiring on October 31, 2018, or until their successors are appointed and qualified. 3. City Clerk will administer the Oath of Loyalty. PURPOSE: The Board of Adjustment is composed of five Goodyear residents that hear and decide on variances from the terms of the Zoning Ordinance and appeals from decisions of the Zoning Administrator. The terms of the current members expired on October 31, 2015. The Council Subcommittee for Boards, Commissions, and Committees Appointments reviewed applications and interviewed citizens on October 28, 2015. They are recommending the reappointment of Nancy Burton and Estelle Beswick to a three-year term, and the appointment of three new members, Robert Garcia, Thomas Neith, and Jerry Schroeder, to three-year terms expiring on October 31, 2018.
