RECOGNIZING APRIL AS FAIR HOUSING MONTH RECOMMENDATION: ADOPT RESOLUTION NO. 15-1701 PROMOTING FAIR HOUSING AND RECOGNIZING APRIL AS FAIR HOUSING MONTH. PURPOSE: The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development has declared April as Fair Housing Month to raise the public’s awareness regarding fair housing issues and highlight the national commitment to end housing discrimination.
