SPRING 2015 PAVEMENT PRESERVATION PROJECT RECOMMENDATION: Approve a budgeted expenditure not to exceed $1,000,000.00 to complete micro-surfacing and slurry seal pavement preservation treatments on City streets. PURPOSE: Approval of this expenditure allows the City enter into a contract with Southwest Slurry Seal, Inc. for slurry seal and ViaSun Corporation for the micro-surfacing. By approving this project, the pavement of City roadways will be preserved with lower cost pavement preservation treatments. (Ron Sievwright, Streets/Traffic Superintendent)
