AMEND AGREEMENT TO ASSIST WITH IMPLEMENTATION OF THE UTILITY ASSET MANAGEMENT PROGRAM RECOMMENDATION: Approve Contract Amendment One between the City of Goodyear and Corollo Engineers in the amount of $96,853 to assist with implementation of the asset management program for water and wastewater enterprises. PURPOSE: The City of Goodyear is interested in accelerating the implementation of its asset management program for the water and wastewater enterprises, starting with an immediate focus on the City’s wastewater treatment plants and well sites. A recent evaluation of the City’s wastewater treatment plants indicates there are a number of significant rehabilitation projects that need to be completed in the near term to prevent process failure, ensure worker safety, and meet water quality requirements of permits and water resource management needs.
