AMENDMENT TO THE COMPREHENSIVE SIGN PACKAGE FOR PEBBLE CREEK VILLAGE MARKETPLACE RECOMMENDATION: Approve an amendment to the Comprehensive Sign Package (CSP) for the Pebble Creek Village Marketplace (now renamed Pebble Creek Marketplace) located on 25 acres at the southwest corner of Pebblecreek Parkway and McDowell Road zoned Planned Area Development (PAD) under the Pebble Creek Marketplace Final PAD, subject to stipulations. PURPOSE: This is a request for an amendment to the approved CSP for the Pebble Creek Village Marketplace which now has been renamed Pebble Creek Marketplace. With the addition of a new anchor (Winco) to the development, the CSP is being amended to include wall signage for the building. Staff finds that the requested amendment is appropriate for the site. The signage proposed for the Winco building will be consistent with the existing signage approved for the development. As such, most buildings will have a unified design theme and an appropriate amount of signage allocated to each. At a public hearing held on October 15, 2014, the Planning and Zoning Commission unanimously voted (7-0) to forward a recommendation of approval to the City Council. (Joe Schmitz, Planning Manager)
