AGREEMENT WITH THE U.S. CENSUS BUREAU TO CONDUCT A SPECIAL CENSUS RECOMMENDATION: ADOPT RESOLUTION 14-1676 AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GOODYEAR, MARICOPA COUNTY, ARIZONA TO EXECUTE A MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT WITH THE U.S. CENSUS BUREAU TO CONDUCT A SPECIAL CENSUS IN THE CITY OF GOODYEAR. PURPOSE: The Memorandum of Agreement sets for the terms and conditions for the U.S. Census Bureau to conduct a special census in the City of Goodyear. Conducting a special census will allow the City to officially update its population figures upon which Urban Revenue Sharing monies are distributed.
