AMEND CHAPTER 3, ARTICLE 3-1, SECTION 3-1-5 TO CREATE A STAND-ALONE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT RECOMMENDATION: ADOPT ORDINANCE NO. 14-1309 AMENDING CHAPTER 3, ARTICLE 3-1, SECTION 3-1-5 TO CREATE A STAND-ALONE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT; PROVIDING FOR CORRECTIONS, PENALTIES, SEVERABILITY AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE. PURPOSE: Re-establishing the Economic Development Department by removing it from the consolidated Development Services Department allowing for an increased effort to meet the goals and objectives outlined in the Focus on Success Economic Development Action Plan adopted by Mayor and Council.
