MARKHAM CONTRACTING COMPANY INC. CONTRACT RECOMMENDATION: Approve a budgeted expenditure exceeding $500,000 to construct Project No. SD1201 Bullard Avenue and Estella Parkway Infrastructure Improvements. PURPOSE: Approval of this expenditure allows the City to enter into a contract with Markham Construction in an amount of $4,985,721.59 which will complete construction of necessary infrastructure around the Goodyear Ballpark and Spring Training Complexes. This includes creating a signalized intersection at Bullard Avenue and Estella Parkway, adding a third northbound traffic lane to Estrella Parkway, constructing four (4) traffic lanes with raised landscaped median that will complete Bullard Avenue from Lower Buckeye Parkway to Estrella Parkway, and installing required wet and dry utilities and landscaping.
