AMEND REGIONAL WASTEWATER TRUNK LINE SPECIAL PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS IN WEST GOODYEAR CENTRAL PLANNING AREA RECOMMENDATION: 1. Conduct public hearing on adoption of Resolution 14-1622 amending the Special Public Improvements identified in the Special Public Improvement Project Area established by Resolution of Intention No. 06-1065 and authorizing the recovery of the costs to install certain regional wastewater trunk lines in the West Goodyear Central Planning Area generally bounded by Interstate 10 on the north, MC85 on the south, Cotton Lane on the east and Perryville Road on the west. a. ADOPT RESOLUTION 14-1622 AMENDING RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 06-1065 TO DELETE AND MODIFY CERTAIN REGIONAL WASTEWATER TRUNK LINE IMPROVEMENTS IDENTIFIED AS SPECIAL PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS IN THE SPECIAL PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT PROJECT AREA ESTABLISHED IN RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 06-1065 AND TO ADD TWO NEW LINES AS SPECIAL PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS IN THE SPECIAL PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT PROJECT AREA ESTABLISHED IN RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 06-1065; AND ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. PURPOSE: This Resolution amends the previously adopted Resolution of Intention 06-1065 which established a Special Public Improvements Project Area for the West Goodyear Central Planning Area and identified certain regional wastewater trunk line facilities to be installed by private developers and the costs recovered from the owners of benefited properties when those properties are tied into the lines. Due to changes in conditions and more detailed engineering studies, the Master Wastewater Study for this area was updated which resulted in changes to the size, cost and location of some of these regional lines.
