ENGINEERING DESIGN STANDARDS AND POLICIES MANUAL RECOMMENDATION: ADOPT RESOLUTION 14-1607 TEMPORARILY SUSPENDING PROVISIONS IN THE CITY OF GOODYEAR ENGINEERING DESIGN STANDARDS AND POLICIES MANUAL 2012 EDITION THAT IMPOSE REQUIREMENTS FOR THE INSTALLATION OF RECLAIMED WATER IMPROVEMENTS; PROVIDING AUTHORIZATION AND DIRECTION TO TAKE ACTIONS NECESSARY TO CARRY OUT INTENT OF RESOLUTION; PROVIDING FOR THE TERMINATION OF SUSPENSION; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. PURPOSE: This action would suspend certain provisions within the City of Goodyear Engineering Design Standards and Policies Manual 2012 Edition that require the construction of purple pipe direct delivery reclaimed water systems within development. The suspension will allow City staff to review and revise the City of Goodyear Engineering Design Standards and Policies Manual 2012 Edition, to align with current Council direction and bring back to the Council with recommended revisions and/or amendments.
