POLICE DEPARTMENT PROPERTY EVIDENCE FACILITY RECOMMENDATION: ADOPT RESOLUTION 14-1610 APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF THE INDUSTRIAL PROPERTY LOCATED AT 2711 S. LA LUNA, GOODYEAR, ARIZONA 85338 ‘LA LUNA PROPERTY’, FROM REMLAND LLC, AN ARIZONA LIMITED LIABILITY COMPANY FOR $546,000; AUTHORIZING THE CITY ATTORNEY TO MAKE NON-SUBSTANTIVE CHANGES TO THE ATTACHED PURCHASE AGREEMENT; AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER OR HIS DESIGNEE TO TAKE ALL ACTIONS AND EXECUTE ALL DOCUMENTS NECESSARY TO CARRY OUT THE INTENT OF THE RESOLUTION AND THE PURCHASE OF THE LA LUNA PROPERTY. PURPOSE: Council is being asked to consider the approval of the Purchase Agreement for the La Luna Property, along with authorizing the City Manager to execute the necessary documents to complete the purchase.
