RECOGNIZE APRIL AS FAIR HOUSING MONTH RECOMMENDATION: ADOPT RESOLUTION 14-1605 RECOGNIZING APRIL AS FAIR HOUSING MONTH AND PROMOTING FAIR HOUSING. PURPOSE: The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development has declared April as Fair Housing Month to raise the public’s awareness regarding fair housing issues and highlight the national commitment to end housing discrimination.
