RESOLUTION RENEWING THE MARICOPA COUNTY URBAN COUNTY 3-YEAR COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT RECOMMENDATION: ADOPT RESOLUTION 14-1618 APPROVING THE CITY’S CONTINUED PARTICIPATION IN THE MARICOPA COUNTY CDBG PROGRAM THROUGH JUNE 30, 2018; PROVIDING AUTHORIZATION AND DIRECTION TO TAKE ACTIONS AND EXECUTE DOCUMENTS NECESSARY TO CARRY OUT INTENT OF THE RESOLUTION; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. PURPOSE: All participants in the Maricopa County Urban County Program must have a cooperative agreement with Maricopa County. The current 3-year cooperative agreement with Maricopa County was approved by City Council on April 11, 2011. This agreement will expire on June 30, 2015. This action will authorize the extension of the 3-year cooperative agreement to June 30, 2018. (Katie Wilken, Planner III)
