2014 FOCUS ON SUCCESS ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ACTION PLAN RECOMMENDATION: ADOPT RESOLUTION 14-1598 APPROVING THE FOCUS ON SUCCESS ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ACTION PLAN. PURPOSE: During most of 2013, Development Services and Economic Development staff coordinated a consultant driven economic development strategic planning process that involved 29 business and education leaders, landowners, and City Council. The development of the Economic Development Action Plan strategically aligns Goodyear to position itself to become more competitive and provides direction for the types of investments the Development Services Department and Economic Development Division should be targeting.
