APPOINT AND RE-APPOINT MEMBERS TO THE ARTS AND CULTURE COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION: 1. Appoint Denise Bates, Karen Olson, and Melinda Donovan to the Arts & Culture Commission for three-year terms expiring December 31, 2016. They are replacing Norma Cunningham, Linda Strauss-Lewis, and Wynne Gring. Appoint Karen Cunningham to the Arts & Culture Commission to replace Guylene Ozlanski with the term expiring December 31, 2015. 2. Re-appoint Jessica Rosenberg, Brian Driscoll, and Katherine Miller to the Arts & Culture Commission for three-year terms expiring December 31, 2016. 3. Appoint Bernadette Mills as Ex-officio for the Arts & Culture Commission. 4. City Clerk will administer the Oath of Loyalty. PURPOSE: The City Council Subcommittee reviewed applications and interviewed applicants on December 4, December 12, and December 16, 2013. The Council Subcommittee is recommending Denise Bates, Karen Olson, Melinda Donovan, and Karen Cunningham to fill vacant Commission seats. The City Council Subcommittee also recommended reappointing Jessica Rosenberg, Brian Driscoll, and Katherine Miller.
