IGA FOR JOINT USE OF SCHOOL FACILITIES BETWEEN THE CITY OF GOODYEAR AND AVONDALE SCHOOL DISTRICT RECOMMENDATION: ADOPT RESOLUTION NO. 14-1587 AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF GOODYEAR TO APPROVE THE FIRST AMENDMENT TO THE INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT FOR JOINT USE OF SCHOOL FACILITIES BETWEEN THE CITY OF GOODYEAR AND THE AVONDALE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 44. (“FIRST AMENDMENT”). PURPOSE: An amended joint use agreement between the City and School District will bring the existing agreement up to date with regard to the current inventory of available shared use facilities and clarifies maintenance and mutual obligations.
