SETTLEMENT OF CONDEMNATION ACTION FILED BY THE FLOOD CONTROL DISTRICT OF MARICOPA COUNTY AGAINST THE CITY OF GOODYEAR RECOMMENDATION: ADOPT RESOLUTION 13-1585 APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE SETTLEMENT OF THE CONDEMNATION ACTION FILED BY THE FLOOD CONTROL DISTRICT OF MARICOPA COUNTY AGAINST THE CITY OF GOODYEAR IN MARICOPA COUNTY SUPERIOR COURT, CASE CV 2011-056245; PROVIDING AUTHORIZATION AND DIRECTION TO TAKE ACTIONS AND EXECUTE DOCUMENTS NECESSARY TO CARRY OUT INTENT OF RESOLUTION AND SETTLEMENT; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. PURPOSE: The purpose of this item is to present proposed terms for the settlement of a condemnation action filed by the Flood Control District of Maricopa County against the City of Goodyear in Maricopa County Superior Court in case CV 2011-056245.
