REAPPOINT CITIZEN REPRESENTATIVE TO THE PUBLIC SAFETY PERSONNEL RETIREMENT POLICE AND FIRE BOARDS RECOMMENDATION: 1. Reappoint Jay Mathias, as citizen representative, to the Police and Fire Public Safety Personnel Retirement Boards, for a four-year term ending October 28, 2017. 2. City Clerk will administer the Oath of Loyalty. PURPOSE: The Public Safety Police and Fire Personnel Retirement Boards have been in existence in the City of Goodyear since January 1990. Terms of the five members serving on the Board are four years, staggered every two years. Jay Mathias was appointed in June 2012, to fulfill the remainder of Bob Ewest’s term ending on October 10, 2013. (Maureen Scott, City Clerk)
