IGA WITH ADOT FOR I-10 AND PERRYVILLE ROAD INTERCHANGE RECOMMENDATION: ADOPT RESOLUTION 13-1568 AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE AN INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE OF ARIZONA, ACTING BY AND THROUGH ITS DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION TO ESTABLISH RESPONSIBILITY FOR FUNDING, INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE RESPONSIBILITIES OF FIBER OPTIC CONDUIT, CABLE, AND TRAFFIC SIGNAL EQUIPMENT ALONG A PORTION OF I-10 FROM CITRUS ROAD TO PERRYVILLE ROAD IN THE CITY OF GOODYEAR. PURPOSE: This Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) establishes responsibilities for funding, installation, operation, and maintenance of City-owned traffic signal equipment, and fiber optic cable and conduit to be installed by ADOT during the construction of the I-10 and Perryville Road interchange.
