PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING SERVICES CONTRACT WITH WATER WORKS ENGINEERS, LLC FOR 157th AVE WRF IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT RECOMMENDATION: Authorize the City Manager to approve a $699,676 lump sum contract for the Professional Engineering Services with Water Works, LLC for improvements to the City of Goodyear 157th Ave Water Reclamation Facility (WRF), and authorize the Purchase Order to be issued. PURPOSE: The execution of this contract will allow the City to proceed with the improvements to the City of Goodyear 157th Ave WRF. The consultant will provide professional engineering design, bid phase/contractor procurement, and construction phase administration services for the 157th Ave WRF Improvements for increasing the capacity of the existing 4 MGD facility to 6 MGD capacity (average day flow). The project will also include an existing facility design report and include a phased facility expansion plan providing a basis for the expansion from 4 MGD to 6 MGD as well as space planning and treatment strategy for phased expansion up to 22 MGD (average day flow) facility buildout capacity.
