RESOLUTION APPROVING INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT FOR THE EL RIO WATERCOURSE IMPLEMENTATION AND MANAGEMENT PLAN RECOMMENDATION: ADOPT RESOLUTION NO. 13-1561 AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR DESIGNEE TO EXECUTE AN INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY OF AVONDALE, TOWN OF BUCKEYE, AND THE FLOOD CONTROL DISTRICT OF MARICOPA COUNTY FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE EL RIO WATERCOURSE IMPLEMENTATION AND MANAGEMENT PLAN; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. PURPOSE: This agreement defines the responsibilities of the City of Goodyear, City of Avondale, Town of Buckeye and the Flood Control District of Maricopa County (FCDMC) for the development of the El Rio Watercourse Implementation and Management Plan.
