GILA RIVER INDIAN COMMUNITY GRANT APPLICATION RECOMMENDATION: ADOPT RESOLUTION 13-1558 AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE ALL DOCUMENTS RELATED TO A GRANT APPLICATION TO THE GILA RIVER INDIAN COMMUNITY FOR 14 ELECTRONIC TABLETS TO IMPLEMENT ELECTRONIC PATIENT CARE REPORTING FOR THE GOODYEAR FIRE DEPARTMENT. PURPOSE: The Gila River Indian Community shares a portion of their revenues from tribal gaming directly with local governments to benefit the general public. This grant request for fourteen tablets to enable the Goodyear Fire Department to execute Electronic patient care reporting (ePCR) is consistent with the priorities identified by the Gila River Indian Community for their 12% Revenue Sharing Program.
