APPROVE CHANGES TO THE YOUTH COMMISSION BY-LAWS RECOMMENDATION: Approve amended Youth Commission By-Laws. PURPOSE: City staff is seeking to amend the Youth Commission By-Laws. These changes will improve the Commission’s overall mission and structure. Specifically, these changes will add an educational component to the Youth Commission structure, clarify who is eligible to apply, set term lengths at two years, set the maximum amount of Commissioners appointed each year at 10, establish guidelines for appointing Commission leadership and establish a procedure for entrance and removal.
