CONTRACT WITH RED OAK CONSULTING FOR SCADA PHASE II PROJECT RECOMMENDATION: Authorize the City Manager to approve a lump sum contract for Professional Engineering Services with Red Oak Consulting for Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) Phase II - Development Services Project, and authorize the Purchase Order to be issued for $647,750. PURPOSE: The execution of this contract will allow the City to proceed with the continued development of the City of Goodyear SCADA System. The SCADA System will provide data acquisition and remote control of exiting water and wastewater facilities throughout the City from the 157th Ave Water Reclamation Facility SCADA Control Center. The work will result in a communications network that integrates reporting elements into the City business management system. The contract includes requirements for project management, system programming, integration, utility system expansion standards, existing system improvements, timelines and design for immediate to short term improvements to the existing system as well as phased implementation plans for developing the SCADA system from its present state to the ultimate buildout of existing and future facilities.
