DECLARING AND ADOPTING THE RESULTS OF THE MAY 21, 2013 GENERAL ELECTION RECOMMENDATION: ADOPT RESOLUTION 13-1550, DECLARING AND ADOPTING THE RESULTS OF A GENERAL ELECTION HELD ON MAY 21, 2013, AND ORDERING THE RECORDATION OF SUCH RESOLUTION. PURPOSE: Goodyear held an All Mail Election on May 21, 2013. The General Election was called as a result of the Primary Election held on March 12, 2013, and served as a run-off election between Brannon Hampton and Sharolyn Hohman. The candidate with the highest number of votes will be declared the winner and will take their oath alongside elected incumbents Mayor Georgia Lord and Council members Joe Pizzillo and Wally Campbell. They will be seated at the June 10, 2013 Council Meeting/Inauguration. (Maureen Scott, City Clerk)
