PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION APPOINTMENTS RECOMMENDATION: 1. Re-appoint Leslie Miller and Cathleen Short to the Planning and Zoning Commission, each for a three-year term expiring on January 31, 2016, or until their successors are appointed and qualified. 2. Appoint Randy Barnes and Patrick Bray to the Planning and Zoning Commission, each for a three-year term expiring on January 31, 2016, or until their successors are appointed and qualified. 3. The City Clerk will administer the Oath of Loyalty to the four newly appointed Planning and Zoning Commission members. PURPOSE: The terms of four Planning and Zoning Commission members expired on January 31, 2013. Applications were solicited and the Council Subcommittee for Boards, Commissions and Committees met to review applications, interview applicants and make a recommendation for appointment of Commission members. The Subcommittee is recommending the re-appointment of Leslie Miller and Cathleen Short to the Planning and Zoning Commission each for an additional three-year term and the appointment of Randy Barnes and Patrick Bray as new members to the Planning and Zoning Commission each for a three-year term.
