IGA WITH MARICOPA COUNTY FOR AN ENTENTE AGREEMENT RECOMMENDATION: ADOPT RESOLUTION 13-1534 AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR DESIGNEE TO EXECUTE AN INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT WITH THE MARICOPA COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION TO IMPLEMENT A COOPERATIVE MAINTENANCE PROGRAM; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. PURPOSE: The Entente Agreement will allow staff from the City and Maricopa County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) to exchange maintenance services of equal value. It will also allow the City and MCDOT to partner on shared projects and allow one agency or the other to serve as the lead on shared projects. (Brian Barnes, Streets Superintendant)
