Board Members discussed allowing input from visitor… Recruitment: 12-13 applicants, 5 qualified. Sent out questionnaires to these applicants and once returned will gather with Advisory Board to review responses and make decision on next steps. It was noted that "Discussion Items" on the Agenda will change to "Board Member Comments". Board Member Hayes wanted to give a "Thank you" to Debbie Thompson for helping with the write in candidate paperwork. Borough Manager Giesbrecht stated Parks & Recreation is not ready to discuss their Programs at this time. Facility Supervisor Payne provided an update on future Sauna improvements. Borough Manager updated the Board on the Sandy Beach project. Discussed the pool admission fee being waived and how to better handle the patron count to lifeguards on duty and the possibility of splitting swim sessions. Discussion of how to recruit board members and residency terms. Borough Manager Giesbrecht reviewed participation of Advisory Board in selection process of new Parks & Recreation Director. The September 16, 2020 minutes were unanimously approved. The agenda was approved as submitted.
