Discussion and possible action related to the application for federal funding through the U.S. Department of Labor, Pay for Success Initiative, announcing the availability of $6,000,000 in funding. This solicitation provides funding for performance-based, or outcomes-based contracting to improve reentry, reduce recidivism, and address the treatment and recovery needs of people with mental health, substance use, or co-occurring disorders who are currently leaving incarceration. The Board of County Commissioners (BOCC), acting as the administrator of the grant will submit the application and any other documents needed to complete the application.
