- 16. Discussion and possible action regarding letter of intent to proceed with researching and preparing a grant application for funding not to exceed $1,000,000.00 under the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), Office of Justice Programs (OJP), and Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) FY25 Juvenile Drug Treatment Court Program (“JDTC Program”) to plan and implement a Juvenile Drug Treatment Court to serve Oklahoma County’s juvenile population. The letter of intent and SF-424 for OJJDP FY25 Juvenile Drug Treatment Court Program is to be submitted by the BOCC in Grants.gov by February 5, 2025. The application is to be submitted by the BOCC in JustGrants by February 19, 2025. Requested by Jessica Clayton, Chief Deputy District 2.

Discussion and possible action regarding a contract between the Board of County Commissioners and Jones High School for the 2025 Oklahoma County Free Fair Spring Livestock Show to be held in the Don Ramsey Agricultural Facility on February 24-26, 2025. Contract not to exceed $4,500.00. Requisition No.12504749. Approved as to form and legality by Lisa Endres, ADA. Requested by Myles Davidson, Chairman of the Board.
- 18. Discussion and possible action to appoint Joseph Baker, 12440 N. Luther Rd., Luther, OK 73054 from District 1, and Brandon Stallings, 20315 Lazy Ln, Luther, OK 73054 from District 3 to the Oklahoma County Free Fair Board Association. These appointments are necessary because no one filed to run from these districts. These nominations were brought to the Chairman of the BOCC based on recommendations from the Free Fair Board. - 19. Discussion and possible action regarding the resolution signed by the Citizens Bond Oversight Advisory Board, recognizing the urgent need to support public safety sales tax to ensure the safety and security of our community, recommends the Board of County Commissioners hold a special election seeking voter approval for a county sales tax dedicated to the construction and operation of a new Oklahoma County Jail. Requested by Steve Mason, Chairman.

Discussion and possible action regarding the resolution signed by the Citizens Bond Oversight Advisory Board, recognizing the urgent need to support public safety sales tax to ensure the safety and security of our community, recommends the Board of County Commissioners hold a special election seeking voter approval for a county sales tax dedicated to the construction and operation of a new Oklahoma County Jail. - 20. Discussion and possible action regarding the Oklahoma Gas Gathering located along Westminister Road and in conflict with Bridge 145A reconstruction near Arcadia. The utility line is in a private easement that the county is purchasing, therefore the utility must be relocated or abandon at the county expense. The parties have agreed to abandon the line at the cost of $20,000.00, it being the least expensive option. Contingent upon encumbrance of funds. Requested by Stacey Trumbo, PE, County Engineer.
