Discussion and possible action regarding a Specific Assistance Agreement between the City of Piedmont and the Board of County Commissioners of Oklahoma County for reconstructing County Line Rd, a county section line road between 192nd and 206th. The total amount of project is not to exceed $740,000.00, of which the City of Piedmont shall reimburse Oklahoma County 50% of actual project costs not to exceed $370,000. Discussion and possible action regarding Resolution No. 2026-0278 to amend or not amend the zoning as provided in Title 19 O.S.,§868.16 on a tract of land from R-2 - Rural Residential District to R-1 - Acreage Residential District (Z-2025-04). The applicant proposes to change the zoning to develop a single-family subdivision on approximately 160 acres. The Oklahoma County Planning Commission has recommended approval during a public meeting on January 15, 2026. Written protests against the amendment, signed and acknowledged by the owners of twenty percent (20%) of the frontage within one thousand (1,000) feet to the right or left of the frontage proposed to be changed, were filed with the County Planning Commission. This amendment may not be passed except by the favorable vote of all members of the Board of County Commissioners. The property is located at the southeast corner of Hefner Rd. and Harrah Rd. This Final Plat (FP-2025-14) was approved by the Planning Commission on January 15, 2026. The commercial plat includes three (3) lots encompassing approximately five (5.82) acres. The subject property is located on the east side of Portland Ave. south of NW 206th St., in County Commissioner District 3.
