Discussion and possible action regarding an Agreement for Specific Assistance between the City of Choctaw and the Board of County Commissioners of Oklahoma County for drainage repair on Whispering Lane. The City of Choctaw will reimburse the county 100% for costs of materials in an amount not to exceed $3,887.40. Discussion and possible action regarding approval of a standard long-term lease contract between Standley Systems, LLC, and the Board of County Commissioners for a Savin IM C4500 copier and copier services. Discussion and possible action regarding the authorization for Sheriff Tommie Johnson III to acquire a contract for outside legal counsel related to litigation concerning the Oklahoma County trust indenture, memorandum of understanding for transportation services, and any other orders, directives, or opinions that require the Sheriff to perform duties that are perceived to be outside of state statutory requirements. Upon selection of a firm that is suitable for this matter, the Sheriff’s Office will present a contract to be considered for approval by the BOCC. The reason for this request is because the Oklahoma County District Attorney will have to recuse based on the conflict of interest due to the parties involved.
