- 1 "Official action can be taken only on items which appear on the agenda. The Authority may adopt, approve, ratify, deny, defer, recommend, or continue any agenda item. The Authority may also propose and enact floor amendments to any matter presented before them. When more information is needed to act on an item, the Authority may refer the matter to the City Manager or the City Attorney. The Authority may also refer items to standing committees of the Council or a board, commission, or authority for additional study. Under certain circumstances, items are deferred to a specific later date or stricken from the agenda entirely."
- 2 WAYNE GILLEY AUDITORIUM DEDICATION CEREMONY AND RIBBON CUTTING Begins at 1:45PM in the South Hallway behind Council Chambers. Please join us for a formal dedication ceremony as we rename the Lawton Council Chambers to the Wayne Gilley Auditorium, in recognition of Mayor Wayne Gilley's significant contributions to the Lawton Community. The event will include the official unveiling of a bronze plaque and a ribbon-cutting ceremony, conducted by LuWayne Irwin, daughter of Mayor Wayne Gilley.

- 1. Consider and take action in approving a resolution to accept the Oklahoma Water Resources Board ARPA Grant in the amount of $2,000,000.00 and authorize the Chairman and Secretary to execute the funding agreement for the grant. These Grant funds are designated for the construction of a dewatering facility at the Southeast Water Treatment Plant.
- 2. Discuss the April 30, 2024, letter from Bank of America regarding the technical default of the Series 2013 Supplemental Note Indenture dated July 1, 2013, and authorize the Chairman to sign acknowledgement of said letter.
