  1. 1 AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE Authorizing the Director of Public Safety to enter into an agreement with the Cuyahoga County Solid Waste District to accept funding in support of the Department of Public Safety’s Environmental Crimes Task Force for purposes, including but not limited to, the purchase of training and equipment necessary to assist in combatting illegal dumping. 157-2024
  2. 2 AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE Authorizing the Director of Public Safety to apply for and accept a grant from the United States Department of Homeland Security for the FY22 Fire Prevention and Safety Grant Program; and authorizing the purchase of one or more contracts of smoke/CO detectors, including installation and installation tools. 158-2024
  3. 3 AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE Authorizing the Director of Public Safety to apply for and accept a grant from the Ohio Office of Criminal Justice Services for the FY 2023 State Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant to provide funding for the operation of the Cartel Gang Narcotics and Laundering Task Force; and authorizing agreements with various entities to implement the grant. 159-2024
  4. 4 AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE Authorizing the Director of Public Safety to apply for and accept a grant from the United States Department of Homeland Security for the FY 22 Assistance to Firefighters Grant; and authorizing the Director to employ one or more professional consultants to conduct cancer and behavioral health screenings and medical and fitness evaluations and expanding health and cancer screenings. 165-2024
