PC 26-01: Text Amendment to Chapter 155 - Pet Shops with Dogs and Without Dogs The Plan Commission transmits for your consideration its recommendation regarding the above-referenced petition. The petitioner, the Village of Lombard, is requesting approval of a text amendment to Chapter 155 of the Village Code (Zoning Code) to (i) define and distinguish pet shops that do not offer live dogs for sale or transfer from pet shops that do offer live dogs for sale or transfer, and (ii) revise the applicable Business District use regulations to classify pet shops without dog sales as permitted uses and pet shops with dog sales as conditional uses in the zoning districts where pet shops are currently allowed. PC 26-02: Text Amendments to Chapter 155 - Fence Materials and AC Setbacks for Single-family Residential Properties The Plan Commission transmits for your consideration its recommendation regarding the above-referenced petition. The petitioner, the Village of Lombard, is requesting text amendments to Village Code Chapter 155, Zoning Code, and any other relevant sections for clarity and consistency. Proposed amendments include the following: 1. Amend Section 155.205 of the Village Code, Fences, wall, and hedges, to incorporate regulations for fencing materials. 2. Amend Section 155.212 of the Village Code, Permitted obstructions in required yards, to reduce the side yard setback for new central air-conditioning systems. (DISTRICT ALL) 260032

Local Tourism Grant Application 2026 - Lombard Lilac Parade Recommendation from the Community Promotion & Tourism Committee to approve a grant request from the Lombard Lilac Festival Parade Committee in the amount of $25,000, plus the cost of Village services from Hotel/Motel funds for the Lombard Lilac Parade. The grant funds support all expenses of the parade, honorariums paid to participants, advertising, and recognition expenses. The parade will take place on May 17, 2026. 260011 approved Pass

Local Tourism Grant Application 2026 - Lilac Sale Recommendation from the Community Promotion & Tourism Committee to approve a grant request from the Lombard Garden Club in the amount of $2,000 from Hotel/Motel funds to cover the cost of the purchase of lilacs and associated items such as pots, potting soil, labels, and containers. The event will take place May 7, 2026. 260012 approved Pass

Local Tourism Grant Application 2026 - Lilac Times Arts and Craft Fair Recommendation from the Community Promotion & Tourism Committee to approve a grant request from the Lombard Area Chamber of Commerce in the amount of $6,500 from Hotel/Motel funds to cover the cost of Village services (Public Works, Police, Fire). The fair is scheduled for May 3, 2026. 260014 approved Pass

Local Tourism Grant Application 2026 - Lombard Farmers Market Recommendation from the Community Promotion & Tourism Committee to approve a grant request from the Lombard Area Chamber of Commerce in the amount of $3,300 from Hotel/Motel funds for the 2026 Farmers Market. The grant funds will be used to support the costs of overtime for Public Works to place barricades to block access to South Park as well as advertising costs. The Farmer's Market will run from May 19, 2026 through October 6, 2026. 260015 approved Pass

Local Tourism Grant Application 2026 - Lombard Outdoor Vintage Days Recommendation from the Community Promotion & Tourism Committee to approve a grant request from the Lombard Area Chamber of Commerce in the amount of $1,000 from Hotel/Motel funds for the 2026 Lombard Outdoor Vintage Days event to cover the cost of Village services. The event will take place on March 29, June 28, and September 27, 2026. 260016 approved Pass
