PA-250177; ADDRESS: 4559 Marloma Drive, Rolling Hills Estates, CA 90274; APPLICANT: Ashley and Matt Tullius; A request for a Neighborhood Compatibility Determination (NC-250180) and approval of a Grading application (G-250181) for the construction of retaining walls, swimming pool, and outdoor fireplace/kitchen area that would require the excavation of earth materials greater than three feet in vertical height and the importation of 117 cubic yards of earth materials. The Project was reviewed in accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act (Public Resources Code § 21000 and following: “CEQA”) and the State CEQA Guidelines (14 CCR § 15000 and following) and was determined to be Categorically Exempt under Class 3 of the State CEQA Guidelines, Section 15303 New Construction of Small Structures.   14. A. PLANNING APPLICATION NO. PA-250112; ADDRESS: 22 Sorrel Lane, Rolling Hills Estates, CA 90274; APPLICANT: Ryan Carstensen, Charles E. Thomas, Inc.; A request for a Neighborhood Compatibility Determination (NC-250113) for first-and second-story additions to an existing one-story residence, a Variance (V-250114) to allow construction within non-conforming east and west side yard setbacks, a Variance (V-250115) for legalizing an existing non-conforming front yard setback, a Grading Application (G-250234) for import of more than 20 cubic yards of earth materials and fill that is more than three feet in height at its deepest point and two Minor Deviations for (MD-250244) an encroachment into a required front yard that does not project beyond the forwardmost building line and (MD-250245) a decrease of less than 10% of the required front yard. The application was reviewed in accordance with the California Environmental Quality (Public Resources Code §21000 et seq.: “CEQA”) and was determined to be Categorically Exempt under Class 3, Section 15303(a) New Construction of Small Structures.
