- 2 *Any person desiring to address the Board shall first secure permission of the presiding officer. *Speaker cards are provided so that individuals can bring to the attention of the presiding officer their desire to speak on a particular Agenda item. Cards are available on the table by the door and shall be completed and presented to the Clerk in advance of speaking. *Matters under the jurisdiction of the Board, and not on the Agenda, may be addressed by the Public at the time provided in the Agenda under Public Comment. The Board limits testimony on those items to three minutes per person and no more than three individuals shall address the same subject. *As required by Govt. - 17 FISCAL YEAR 2024/2025 BUDGET HEARING SUBJECT: Fiscal Year 2024/2025 budget hearing and budget adoption. FISCAL IMPACT: Provide appropriations for 2024/2025 Fiscal Year. ACTION REQUESTED: 1) Open public hearing on the 2024-2025 Lassen County Budget; and 2) either continue the public hearing or take actions as follows: a) Adopt resolution Establishing Appropriations Limit in the amount not to exceed $42,049,140, for Fiscal Year 2024- 2025 Pursuant to California Constitution Article XIII-B and Government Code Β§7910; and b) Approving the 2024 - 2025 Lassen County Budget; c) Setting the 2024 - 2025 Tax Rate.

ACTION REQUESTED: Open public hearing on the 2024/2025 Bieber Lighting District Budget and either continue the public hearing or take actions as follows: Adopt resolution Establishing Appropriations Limit the amount of $26,385 for Fiscal Year 2024/2025 Pursuant to California Constitution Article XIII-B and Government Code Sec. 7910; and approving the 2024/2025 Bieber Lighting District Budget in the amount of $4,075.

ACTION REQUESTED:Open public hearing on the 2024/2025 County Service Area #1 Budget (Honey Lake TV) Budget and either continue the public hearing or take actions as follows: Adopt resolution approving the 2024/2025 County Service Area #1 Budget (Honey Lake TV) in the amount of $163,368 and adopting the 2024/2025 TV User Fee in the amount of $25 per single-family unit and $10 per multi-family unit.
