ACTION REQUESTED: 1) Receive Planning Commission Resolution No. 11-01-24 recommending approval; and 2) conduct a public hearing as required by Section 65355 of the Government Code; and 3) concur with the Lassen County Environmental Review Officer that the update is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) in accordance with Section 15061(b)(3) of the CEQA Guidelines; and 4) adopt a resolution approving the 2024-2029 Housing Element Update; and 5) direct staff to forward the adopted Housing Element Update to the California Department of Housing and Community Development for certification.
