7. 7 The appeal of Michael & Amanda Payne, owners of 1109 Downing Drive, to appeal the cited violations of the Uniform Dwelling Code, sections, SPS 321.06 as referenced by section 16.01(b) of the Waukesha Building Code. The existing home was built in 1968, therefore, the owner is permitted to appeal the requirements as allowed in Code Section 16.17 of the Waukesha Building Code. The appellant alleges the provisions of the code do not cover ceiling height of the basement. If the appeal is granted, the appeal would allow the ceiling height to be less than the required ceiling height 7’ (feet). This would vary from the requirements of the Uniform Dwelling code. 8. 8 The appeal of Collin J & Sally M Grady, owners of 909 Michigan Avenue, to appeal the cited violations of the Uniform Dwelling Code, sections, SPS 321.06 and SPS 322.32 as referenced by section 16.01(b) of the Waukesha Building Code. The existing home was built in 1940, therefore, the owner is permitted to appeal the requirements as allowed in Code Section 16.17 of the Waukesha Building Code. The appellant alleges the provisions of the code do not cover ceiling height of the basement and required R-19 insulation for exterior basement walls. If the appeal is granted, the appeal would allow the ceiling height to be less than the required ceiling height 7’ (feet), and basement walls to be less than the required R-19 insulation value. 9. 9 The appeal of Andrew Bronson & Courtney M Nelson, owners of 1224 Tomahawk Ct., to appeal the cited violations of the Uniform Dwelling Code, sections, SPS 321.06 and SPS 321.04 as referenced by section 16.01(b) of the Waukesha Building Code. The existing home was built in 1972, therefore, the owner is permitted to appeal the requirements as allowed in Code Section 16.17 of the Waukesha Building Code. The appellant alleges the provisions of the code do not cover ceiling height of the basement and ceiling height of the stairway and landing. If the appeal is granted, the appeal would allow the ceiling height to be less than the required ceiling height 7’ (feet), the appeal would allow the ceiling height at the stairway landing to be less than the required ceiling height of 6’4” (six feet four inches). 10. 10 The appeal of Kelly L & David Serrano, owners of 115 Dunbar Avenue, to appeal the cited violations of the Uniform Dwelling Code, sections, SPS 321.04 as referenced by section 1601(b) of the Waukesha Building Code. The existing home was built in 1900, therefore, the owner is permitted to appeal the requirements as allowed in Code Section 16.17 of the Waukesha Building Code. The appellant alleges the provisions of the code does not cover the width and length of the landing. If the appeal is granted, the appeal would allow the landing width and length to be less than the required 36”.
