Support changes to the Alzheimer’s Family Caregiver Support Program that remove the income-based eligibility requirements to ensure equitable access and protect federal funding. 2. 2025 Commission on Aging Policy Priorities. 3. Prioritize the following three funding priorities in the FFY 2025 Federal and Wisconsin 2026-27 biennial budget, in alignment with the 2025-2027 Aging Area Plan Advocacy goals: a. Increase funding for Older Americans Act programs and services and other local government services that support older adults. b. Sustain Federal Medicaid funding and the Federal Medical Assistance Percentage and increase State Medicaid match funding for Medicaid waiver long-term care programs. c. Increase funding to support Home and Community Based paid caregivers, as well as family caregivers, to address the caregiver workforce shortage. d. Support increased funding for transit and paratransit to ensure access to services supports, employment, and recreation for older adults. B. Action Item: Revision of the Commission on Aging Bylaws relating to the Aging Advisory Council and its relationship to the Commission on Aging, Commission on Aging Chair, Janice Wilberg. C.
