Commission on Aging meetings are recorded and open to the public. The Chair may take public comments on each agenda item at her/his discretion. Public comments are an important part of our board and commission meetings, providing an opportunity for the community to share their views. Comments must be relevant to items on the agenda and adhere to established procedures and standards of decorum. Speakers are limited to three (3) minutes each, with time limits subject to adjustment by the Chair. All remarks must be directed to the presiding officer and should focus on issues, not individuals. Disruptive behavior, personal attacks, or commercial promotions are not permitted. The Chair reserves the right to enforce these rules, including ending remarks or removing individuals who violate meeting protocols.
