- 2. Authorizing the City to retain outside counsel on a non-competitive basis to provide general legal representation of the Police and Fire Commission.

Stat. § 19.85(1) (e) to discuss and take action, if appropriate, regarding deliberating or negotiating the purchasing of public properties, the investing of public funds, or conducting other specified public business, whenever competitive or bargaining reasons require a closed session; specifically: Consider a recommendation to the Common Council whether to retain the firm of Renning, Lewis & Lacy, S.C. and Attorney Jenna Rousseau to provide legal services to the Police and Fire Commission
