A resolution expressing support for the passage of Washington State Initiative Measure No. 1000 by the Washington State Legislature, which reads as follows: Initiative Measure No. 1000 concerns remedying discrimination and affirmative action. This measure would allow the state to remedy discrimination for certain groups and to implement affirmative action, without the use of quotas or preferential treatment (as defined), in public education, employment, and contracting.
