52. 58 ORAL MOTION Council Vice-Chair Nehring made a motion that the County Council hereby authorize and approve the Settlement Agreement and Release of All Claims relating to the lawsuit filed in Skagit County Superior Court Cause Number 23-2-00515-29 by Damon Scott as negotiated by Special Deputy Prosecuting Attorney Kristofer Bundy following consultation with the County Executive. Councilmember Peterson seconded the motion and it carried unanimously. 2024-1103 Approved Pass
53. 67 Heidi Beazizo, Council Chief of Staff, stated that the Council will convene into Executive Session pursuant to RCW 42.30.110(1)(i) to discuss a matter relating to pending litigation for an initial ten minutes. She indicated that there is no anticipated action to follow and any necessary extensions would be announced. At 9:04 a.m., Chair Mead recessed the Council into Executive Session.
