- 67 Heidi Beazizo, Council Chief of Staff, stated that the Council will convene into two Executive Sessions pursuant to RCW 42.30.110(1)(i) to discuss a matter relating to pending litigation and RCW 42.30.140(4)(b) to discuss a matter relating to labor negotiations for an initial 15 minutes. She indicated that there is potential action to follow and any necessary extensions would be announced. At 9:22 a.m., Chair Mead recessed the Council into Executive Sessions.

- 71 At 9:57 a.m., Chair Mead reconvened the meeting and announced a Walk-On Oral Motion.
- 73 Walk-On Oral Motion
- 74 Vice-Chair Nehring moved that the County Council authorize the Prosecuting Attorney or designee to add the following four defendants to the pending multidistrict opioid litigation: Albertsons, Indivior Inc, Expressscripts, and Optum RX. Councilmember Low seconded the motion and it carried unanimously.
