10. 7 The clerk read the titles of each budget ordinance and motion into the record. Jim Martin, Sr. Legislative Analyst, provided a summary of the proposed ordinance amendments. He responded to initial questions. Responding to Councilmember Dunn, Sheriff Susanna Johnson spoke to potential cuts in the Sheriff's Office. Discussion ensued.
11. 1. Budget Ordinance 24-074, relating to property taxes, fixing the 2025 General Property Tax Levy for Snohomish County and preserving future levy capacity 2024-2002 Continued
12. 2. Budget Ordinance 24-075, authorizing an increase in general tax revenues for property taxes collected in 2025 and 2026 2024-2003 Continued
13. 9 Mr. Martin provided additional clarification and responded to questions regarding the property tax percentage and discussion ensued.
