  6. 6 Notice of Seattle City Council Public Hearing on 2025 General Revenue Sources & Mayors 2025-2026 Proposed Budget and 2025-2030 Proposed Capital Improvement Program (CIP) Seattle City Hall, Council Chambers 600 4th Avenue, Floor 2 Seattle, WA 98104 Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. The Seattle City Council's Select Budget Committee, chaired by Councilmember Dan Strauss, will conduct a public hearing on October 16, 2024, to solicit public comment on the 2025-2026 Proposed Budget including the following: 1. the Citys 2025 General Revenue Sources, including a possible property tax levy increase; 2. the Mayors 2025-2026 Proposed Budget and 2025-2030 Capital Improvement Program; and 3. proposed revisions to the Citys 2025 General Revenue Sources and Mayors Proposed Budgets and CIP. The hearing will be held at Council Chambers and begin at 5:00 p.m. The hearing will continue until all those registered and present to provide public comment have participated. Individual comments will be limited to two minutes or less. This hearing will be cablecast live on Seattle Channel 21 and webcast live at https://www.seattle.gov/council/watch-council-live Register to Speak at the Public Hearing Members of the public may register for remote or in-person public comment to address the Select Budget Committee. Speakers must be registered to be recognized by the Chair. Details on registration are listed below: 1. Remote Public Comment - Register online to speak during the public hearing at https://www.seattle.gov/council/committees/public-comment Registration to speak at the public hearing will begin at 3:00 p.m. the day of the hearing. Registered remote speakers will receive an email confirmation detailing the remote process and phone number. 2. In-Person Public Comment - Register at Council Chambers to speak during the public hearing on the sign-up sheet at least 30 minutes prior to the meeting start time. Written Public Comment Written comment for the October 16, 2024, public hearing is accepted four hours prior to the meeting at Council@seattle.gov. Business hours are considered 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
