1. 1 Hybrid Meetings: Attend King County Council meetings in person in Council Chambers (Room 1001), 516 3rd Avenue in Seattle, or through remote access. Details on how to attend and/or provide comment remotely are listed below. HOW TO PROVIDE PUBLIC TESTIMONY: The Council values community input and looks forward to hearing from you. Testimony must be limited to items listed on the agenda for council action, unless it's the fourth Tuesday of the month, when the Council will hear general comment on matters relating to county government. You are not required to sign up in advance. There are three ways to provide public testimony: 1. In person: You may attend the meeting in person in Council Chambers. 2. By email: You may testify by submitting a COMMENT email. If your testimony is submitted before 10:00 a.m. on the day of the Council meeting, your email testimony will be distributed to the Councilmembers and appropriate staff prior to the meeting. 76. 73 In accordance with K.C.C 2.27.0015, Chair Perry announced two upcoming vacancies for Council nominated at-large positions on the Harborview Board of Trustees. The Chair requested that Councilmembers submit nominations to fill the positions. Nominations can be made by sending an email with the completed application forms to Chair Perry's office by 5 p.m. on Monday, July 20, 2026. After receiving any nominations, the names will be announced at the July 21st Council meeting and forwarded to the Executive. Chair Perry also announced that there was a clerical error with a transmittal last week. On the June 23, 2026, consent calendar, by adopting Proposed Ordinance 2025-0286.2, we voted to authorize the Executive to execute a franchise agreement with HyperFiber, which was attached to the Proposed Ordinance. In committee, the Proposed Ordinance was amended to replace the transmitted version of that agreement with one that had been revised. That new, revised version of the agreement was listed as the attachment to Proposed Ordinance 2025-0286.2 that we adopted. Unfortunately, the original, transmitted version of the agreement was mistakenly placed in our folder and attached to the final ordinance I signed and sent to the Executive to sign. When we were advised of the error, staff alerted the Executive Branch to hold off on signing that incorrect ordinance. I directed the Clerk’s office to prepare a corrected version of the final ordinance, attaching the correct version of the agreement, which I signed and was sent to the Executive to sign. The Executive signed the corrected ordinance, and its number is 20083.
